Edgmond has one public place of worship at St. Peter's Church (C of E). The Methodist Chapel on Shrewsbury Road closed in May 2016.

Edgmond is fortunate in having a busy and successful Primary School located in the middle of the village on Stackyard Lane. The original village school was on School Road adjacent to St Peter's Church. When the number of children attending the school outgrew this building, a second site was established where the current school now stands, and for some years the two separate sites operated. The old school was finally closed down in the late 1990's and since then all year groups have been on the same site. For more information about the school please visit St Peter's Primary School website:
https://www.stpetersedgmond.co.uk/
Edgmond has a children's day nursery immediately adjacent to the school. Please see the Edgmond Owls website for more information.
The Village Hall is located on Shrewsbury Road. It hosts a number of clubs, classes and Groups. The Snooker Club is attached to the Village Hall. More information is available on the Village Hall website.
The club was formed in 1974 following the green being laid by the then Wrekin District Council. Interest in the sport started to increase and in 1976 a team was entered in the Mid Shropshire Bowling League. As time progressed and skills improved more teams were entered in other leagues. The club now has several teams, bowling many evenings of the week during the summer.
The clubhouse was built in 1989 by club members and friends and has a lounge, kitchen, toilets and a well stocked bar. Edgmond Bowling Club is a family club which endeavours to promote the game of Crown Green Bowls. The green is situated off the playing field car park opposite the Village Hall.
