Edgmond Parish Council

Our Neighbourhood Plan goes to Referendum

After 18 months consulting with the community, and much hard work, your Parish Council is pleased to announce that the date for the REFERENDUM that is required to confirm community support for Edgmond Neighbourhood Plan is 19TH APRIL.

The Plan sets out policies for guiding future development in Edgmond. It has to work within the wider framework of National & Regional planning policies and it aims to support appropriate development whilst protecting the overall character of the village.

On Thursday 19th April you will have your chance to help protect and enhance Edgmond by showing your support for the Edgmond Neighbourhood Plan and voting in a REFERENDUM to be held in the Parish.

The Referendum is like any other election. The Polling Station is the Village Hall; it will be open from 7.00am to 10.00pm. You must be on the Electoral Register to vote - postal and proxy votes are available.

Please don't miss out!

There is lots more information on the Neighbourhood Plan tab of this website.
